Despite reports suggesting that Jiah Khan has been given the boot in UTV's Yahoo being directed by Ken Ghosh, the actor says it was her decision to walk out of the film as the script was modified. She adds that she has also signed a two-film deal with UTV, an indication that nothing is wrong between her and the production house.
"I walked out of the film because I found out that the original script had been modified. I told them (UTV) about this and they agreed. In fact, I have signed a two-film deal with them," Jiah says.
Ram Mirchandani of UTV Motion Pictures says, "The rumour that she has been shown the door is completely untrue. We supported her decision to not do the film as the script was changed. To show our solidarity with her, we have signed two films with her."
Yahoo now has Genelia D'Souza along with Shahid Kapur.
Moving away from questions about the movie, we asked Jiah about how she reacts to rumours about her personal. "I generally don't react; I feel silence has more dignity. I'm a spiritual person and people around me know how peace-loving I am," she says.
Finally, for those who are not aware, Jiah is a big music buff and would like to compose a few background scores in future. "I have been playing the piano since I was six years old. I won't get into a band or compose for private albums but composing background music is something I really want to get into," she ends.
